Multi-Factor Login

Limited testing

The MFA feature is still being tested with a limited number of users.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds another layer of protection to your account. When enabled, logging in requires both your password and access to the email inbox associated with your account. This helps protect your account if someone else learns your password.

How it works

  1. When logging in to Triand, enter your email address and password as usual.
  2. If your email and password are correct, Triand sends a six-digit verification code and a verification link to the email address on file. Keep the original log in screen open; it displays the code-entry form and confirms that the email is on its way. 3. Check your email inbox for a message with the subject Triand Log in Verification. Either enter its six-digit code on the original log in screen and select Verify code, or follow the Log in to My Account link in the email. 4. Either verification method finishes logging you in and redirects you to the page initially requested.

Troubleshooting and things to know

  • The code and link share the expiration displayed on the log in screen and in the email (up to 10 minutes) and can only be used once. Using either one also uses the other.
  • If the email does not arrive promptly, check your spam or junk folder.
  • If the code or link is invalid, expired, or already used, start over and enter your email address and password again to receive a new code and link.
  • If the verification email is undeliverable or you see a message that the link could not be sent, the email address on your account may be invalid. Contact your administrator or support@triand.com.
