Training Modes

Training modes allows some users to demonstrate how the system works while also:

• Masking any Personally Identifiable Information (PPI)
• Simulating various actions when viewing a transcript:
  • - refreshing student inforamation from eSchool
  • - toggling twin flag
  • - copying course history
  • - copying immunizations
  • - sending a transcript to a college

Training modes are available for the following users:

• ADE State Employees
• Triand Employees

There are two training modes: Masking and Simulation.

Mode - Masking

Masking mode masks all Personally Identifiable Information (PPI). This includes the names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and any other information that could be used to identify a student, guardian, teacher, or employee.

You can enable Masking mode by:

• adding {demo} onto the end of your profile job title
• saving your profiile
• logging out
• logging back in

You will need to refresh any existing cached student data to see the masked PPI.

Mode - Simulation

Simulation mode is automatic for ADE State Employees and Triand Employees. Simulation mode allows users to see how the system works without making any changes to the district's eSchool systems. Simulation mode is active for the following actions:

• - refreshing student information from eSchool
• - toggling twin flag
• - copying course history
• - copying immunizations
• - sending a transcript to a college
